Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unfitted, undamaged, with any tags or labels still attached where applicable, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please submit a return request through your customer account or order panel on our website. If you need help with your return request, you can also contact us at info@autorce.co.uk.

All return requests will be reviewed before approval. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will send you an email with the return instructions, including how and where to send your package.

Please do not send items back to us without first submitting a return request and receiving approval, as returns sent without authorisation may not be accepted.

Compatibility With Your Vehicle

All products on our website are sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers. Product compatibility information, vehicle fitment guidance, part numbers, measurements, and technical details are provided for reference and guidance only.

Although we aim to provide accurate product information, compatibility data may sometimes be incomplete, incorrect, or vary depending on the vehicle model, year, body type, fitting type, original part specification, or previous modifications.

Before purchasing and fitting the part, it is the customer’s responsibility to compare the replacement part with the original part fitted to the vehicle. For gas struts, this includes checking the open length, stroke length, force rating, body size, head or fitting type, ball stud or eyelet size, thread size, shape, and function.

Please do not rely solely on vehicle compatibility information. If you are unsure, please check the measurements and fittings of your original part and seek advice from a qualified mechanic before purchasing or fitting the item.

If you ordered a part that is not suitable for your vehicle, you may still request a return, provided the item has not been used, fitted, damaged, or modified. In this case, the return shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility.

Please do not fit the item if it appears incorrect, unsuitable, damaged, or faulty. Subject to your statutory rights, we are not responsible for fitting costs, labour costs, or other losses caused by fitting an incorrect or unsuitable part where reasonable checks were not made before installation.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If the item is defective, damaged, or you have received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at info@autorce.co.uk with your order details and clear photos of the issue.

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, refund, or a prepaid return label where required.

Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to customer choice, incorrect ordering, vehicle incompatibility, or change of mind, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

If the return is due to our error, a faulty item, a damaged item, or an incorrect item being supplied, we will cover the return shipping cost where applicable.

UK and EU 14-Day Cancellation Right

For online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving your goods, without giving a reason. After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and within 14 days.

Items returned under the cancellation right must be unused, unfitted, undamaged, and in their original packaging where possible. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

This right does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for items that have been used, fitted, damaged, modified, or returned in a condition that prevents resale, unless the item is faulty or not as described.

We also cannot accept returns for custom-made, special-order, or personalised items, unless they are faulty or not as described.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you receive the correct item is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or receiving proof that the item has been sent back to us. Please remember that it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.
