Recommended Mounting Position:
- Install one gas strut on each side of the toy box lid for balanced support
- Mount approximately 20–30% down from the hinge line on the lid panel
- Fix the lower L bracket around 80–120mm below the top inside edge of the box frame
- Ensure the strut remains slightly compressed when fully closed to maintain proper preload tension
⚠ If the lid exceeds 36kg, consider a higher Newton rating. If the lid is under 20kg, the struts may feel overly strong.
