Designed to assist heavier indoor lids weighing approximately 20–36kg when mounted correctly. Actual lifting performance depends on hinge placement, lid material and installation geometry.
Recommended Mounting Setup:
- Install one strut on each side of the lid
- Fix the upper bracket approx. 20–30% down from the hinge
- Mount the lower bracket approx. 80–120mm below the top inner frame edge
- Ensure slight compression when the lid is fully closed to maintain preload tension
⚠ If lid weight exceeds 36kg, a higher force rating may be required.
⚠ For lids significantly lighter than 20kg, the struts may feel too strong.

This kit includes 2x heavy-duty L brackets (90° angle brackets) for the chest side and 2x flat brackets for the lid side.
