Recommended Lid Weight: Suitable for lids approximately 30–54kg when installed correctly. Actual lifting performance depends on hinge position and mounting geometry.
Recommended Mounting Position:
- Install one strut on each side of the lid
- Mount approximately 20–30% down from the hinge on the lid panel
- Position the lower L bracket around 90–140mm below the top inside edge of the box frame (depending on internal depth)
- Ensure the strut is slightly compressed when fully closed to maintain preload
⚠ If the lid is heavier than 54kg, a higher force rating may be required.
⚠ If the lid is lighter than 30kg, the struts may feel too strong and push the lid upward.
