Recommended Mounting Position:
- Fit one strut on each side of the lid for balanced lifting.
- Mount the top fixing around 20–30% down from the hinge line on the lid panel.
- Fix the lower bracket about 100–160mm below the top inside edge of the box frame (adjust to suit internal depth).
- Ensure the strut is slightly compressed when fully closed to maintain preload.
⚠ If the lid is heavier than 54kg, a higher force rating may be required.
⚠ If the lid is lighter than 30kg, the struts may feel too strong and push the lid upward.
