Comparison and Analysis:

The ABS control module analyzes the data received from the ABS sensors to determine if any wheel is on the verge of locking up during braking. It then makes real-time decisions to modulate brake pressure accordingly.

Brake Pressure Modulation:

If the control module detects that a wheel is about to lock up, it momentarily reduces the brake pressure to that specific wheel by releasing the brake. Once the wheel's speed is brought back to an acceptable range, the brake pressure is reapplied. This cycle of monitoring and modulation occurs multiple times per second until the vehicle comes to a stop or the driver releases the brake pedal.
