Bought these as cheap replacements for a Meriva B as OE struts would only lift about half way and then tailgate/boot needed a good push. Was looking at Stabilus, as they are OE manufacturers for various car brands, but the prices were a bit on the 'heavy' side 😏. Went for these instead and fitted a few days ago. It was easy and quick getting the OE ones off and fitting these in their place. They have a lot of force compared to the old ones and I have to hold the tailgate/boot as it goes past about half way as these gas struts want to 'take off'. I am sure as they get used a bit more they will lose some of there force and hopefully they will last a few good years before they rust or start failing. So far a good buy and worth every penny.
